New Features

Ad-hoc Processes Now Support Dependencies

The New Process form now supports Once (ad-hoc) processes, previously available only in the Program form - bringing greater flexibility and control to one-time workflows.

Because of this, you can now create Once-type templates with dependencies, ensuring subprocesses run in the correct order and nothing is missed.

Perfect for structured yet non-recurring workflows such as corporate actions, client onboardings, and other one-off initiatives.

🔁 You can also convert existing Program templates to the new Process template format. Just contact [email protected], and we’ll guide you through it.

Automate Task Creation and File Uploads via API

You can now create ad-hoc tasks and upload files directly through the API. This enables automation of corporate action and similar workflows - automatically setting priorities, deadlines, and assignees while attaching supporting PDFs - reducing manual effort. For implementation details, refer to the Swagger documentation.

Paste attachments with Ctrl+V

You can now paste screenshots or files directly from your clipboard into a subprocess sidebar and other areas, without first saving them to your computer.

Simply copy the file or screenshot, click the paste file icon, and press Ctrl + V.

Bug Fixes

  • The inactivation modal now only lists future entities with activity (e.g., status changes, comments, issues, or files), not those where the subprocess was only assigned.

  • Approvers assigned at the main process level were added in the background to all subprocesses, even those without approval, causing issues when changing Makers. Now, they’re only added where approval is enabled.

  • When a subprocess had an assigned category group and a category was removed from that group, past, non-expired deadlines were affected - the removed category’s status changed to Not Started even though the overall status stayed Completed. This is now resolved - past statuses remain intact.

  • Weekly missed deadlines reports now send correctly when only the weekly option is enabled. Previously, emails were sent only if both weekly and daily reports were toggled on.

  • The issue dialog now ignores clicks outside the window, preventing it from closing accidentally and losing your progress.

  • Users can now sign in using SSO to organizations that limit user access by groups. Previously, sign-in failed when users had too many groups assigned, causing them not to appear in the access token.

  • Inactive users no longer receive missed deadline reports.

Other

  • The Tasks filter in the dashboard is now enabled by default. You no longer need to manually turn it on after clearing your browser cookies.

  • Emails from Gmail (and other non-Outlook providers) in .eml format can now be previewed directly in Daymi.

  • You can now display a custom message on the dashboard when no processes are visible. Contact the Daymi Support team if you’d like to have this configured.
