Custom Fields

Daymi supports Custom Fields for subprocesses and ad-hoc tasks, adding extra classification layers beyond the existing mandatory Categories structure.

Custom Fields are available as an Enterprise feature. Please contact Daymi Support at [email protected] if you would like to discuss enabling this functionality for your organization.

Field Types

Custom Fields can be configured as:

  • Single Select - users can choose one value

  • Multi Select - users can choose multiple values

This allows teams to adapt fields to different operational and reporting requirements.

Team-Based Visibility

Custom Field values can be linked to specific teams.

Users will only see the options relevant to their department when creating or updating subprocesses and ad-hoc tasks.

Mandatory or Optional Fields

Teams can decide whether a Custom Field should be:

  • Mandatory

  • Optional

This provides flexibility to enforce consistency where needed while keeping workflows efficient.
